Hi Beauties!
I'm sorry I'm being very inconsistent with my posts. Sofia's babtism is coming up this weekend, and I am preparing like a crazy woman. So things are a bit hectic in the household.
But! Fall is officially here, at least in Denmark! Outside it's raining almost everyday, and blowing up a storm. In weather like that I almost always get dry and chapped lips. That's why it's important to exfoliate. When I'm super lazy, I just use the back of my tooth brush. But on some occations, I make a lipscrub. And this one is really good and super easy to make!
First things first. Get out all your ingredients: Sugar, honey, coconut/extra virgin olive oil, small mixing bowl, and a small spoon.
Into the bowl you put 2/4th sugar, 1/4th oil, and 1/4th honey.
Use as much or as little you think you need. But be prepared this won't last more than 2 weeks in the fridge. So don't start making a giant batch, unless you plan on giving some away.
I like the consistency really thick, but if that's not to your liking, just add more honey and oil until you're happy.
The oil will moisturize your lips, the honey will bind the moisture to your lips and make it taste a bit better, and the sugar will exfoliate.
Now all you have to do is store it in a small plastic jar of some sort, and put it in the fridge. This could also be used as a great gift idea for a friend.
Perhaps make one with a bit of vanilla essence or cocoa powder in it. It'll change the taste of it, and make it fun to use. Just remember to adjust the honey and oil.
Are you tempted to try out this lipscrub
instagram me a picture if you do with the hashtag #cosmeticshock
XOXO
