When Sofia was 4 months old, I made a blogpost on an old personal blog about how my day went. I thought it would be fun to see the progression now. IF you haven't seen the blogpost (and let's be real, most of you haven't, because that blog was horribly made, and badly promoted) then HERE's a link.
Before I get to how my day goes, I gotta say. Usually it is not this hard. But right now she's teething, which means things are a bit tough.
Let's do this!
1am
Sofia wakes up crying. Her teeth is bothering her, and I need to give her a pacifier she dropped.
2am
Sofia wakes up again, this time won't go down so easily. I spend 2 minutes by her door, listening to her scream angrily. Then she falls asleep again.
4am
Another easy one; get up, give her a pacifier, get to bed.
6am
Time to get up, if you ask Sofia, that is. Mommy's not so sure. I get up and put toys into her bed, turn on the lights, and let her play.
6:45am
Sofia get's into our bed in the bedroom. It's just her and me now, since my boyfriend's up to get ready for work.
7:30am
We've now lazied around in the bed, playing with teddy bears and watching youtube videos on my phone. Time to get up! I change her diaper and then make breakfast! I eat first while she plays on her playrug, and then she get's a bottle.
8am
Sofia takes a nap in her bed, while I take a nap in mine.
9:30am
Time to get up and play! Sofia is awake and ready for trouble! first up, I change her diaper and get her out of her onsie. And now it's time to play! We spend this time singing, playing with her toys, and I try and teach her how to crawl and walk. It's also about now I find some snacks for her to eat. That could be soft fruit, or some specially made baby-chips.
11:30am
LUNCH! Time to eat! Here we have dark rye bread, with liver pate. The only kind of bread-topping sofia will eat.
12:30pm
We are finally done eating, and we're doing a repeat of all the play things from 9:30am. singing, playing, crawling.
2pm
Time for a nap! This is my golden hour! I get to relax and watch some tv, or perhaps do some cleaning!
3:30pm
Sofia is awake again! Time to change diaper, then play once more. I also give her some fruit mash I made myself, alongside water, d-vitamin drops, and some iron drops.
4pm
My boyfriend get's home and takes over, playing with Sofia, while I get some actual work done. This means blogging, cleaning, or cooking. Usually we will need another diaper change about now.
5:45pm
Dinner time for sofia! I have some pre-prepared veggie mash she get's. Yum!
6pm
Dinner time for my boyfriend and I. If we get something Sofia can safely try, I will feed her from my plate.
6:30pm
About now, I'm really tired. My boyfriend cleans the kitchen, while I lay down and relax with Sofia on the playrug. We watch some kids show tv, and cuddle. This is the time we slowly wind her down, to get her ready for bed.
7:00pm
Bedtime! I change her diaper and put her in her onesie. While my boyfriend brushes her teeth, I prepare her room for the night. As she's cuddling with her teddies in bed, I sing her to sleep.
7:15pm
FINALLY I get to relax! For a long while I simply watch youtube videos, and browse tumblr. But eventually I will open up a game, currently it's Diablo 3, and I will wind down with a bit of mindless zombie killing.
10pm
Time for bed! I cleanse my face, put my nightgown on, brush my teeth, and head straight to bed. After all. I will have to be up in about 3 hours.
