Here's another personal post for you all. This weekend my baby girl turned 1 year old. How time flies by, huh? Not only for me, but for her as well. Holy moly!
We had a lovely garden party with mine and my boyfriend's family. It was so lovely! Thankfully the weather showed itself from it's good side, not a cloud on the sky, and completely wind-still. A rarety in Denmark, for sure. Almost everyone who was invited could come. We started out around lunch time, with a pasta salad, with bbq chicken and salmon skewers.
After lunch, we all watched as Sofia got to experience all her new pressents. She loved the attention, gift wrapping, and the gifts of course. I'm not gonna list what she got, but if you want a post about it, let me know, and I'll make it.
By the time all the gifts were unwrapped, we were all getting a bit hungry again. So I offered some iced tea and coffee, with watermelon and lemon cupakes. Everything was, like with lunch, homemade of course. Only the best for my baby girl. Sofia was not overly hungry, and ended up getting something to drink, and that was about it. I think the excitement of the day was too much for her, hahah.
All in all we had a wonderful day. Sofia was so happy all day, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed watching her soak in all the love she recieved. I hope you enjoyed reading about a day that meant a lot to me.
