Last saturday I visited my good friend Laura in Aarhus. She showed me some nice places to shop, and eat, AND a few cocktail bars, if you feel like going out. We had SO much fun together, and I really, surprisingly enough, enjoyed going out for drinks.
First up, here's what I shopped for:
- skirt; H&M
- Shirt: H&M
- Schwartzkopf Live Color XXL; Kvickly
- Encona Hot Pepper Sauce: Normal
- Batiste Dry Shampoo: Normal
- Revlon Nutri Colour Creme: Stylebox by matas
- Baby Dress: H&M kids
- Baby Tights: H&M kids
- Lingerie: Change
When I arrived Saturday, we went shopping for a while, before deciding to get some lunch. She knew this cheap but AMAZING place at the train station in Aarhus. It's called The Bagel Company, and it was amazing. I got that huge chicken and bacon bagle for 63 Dkkr. It tasted absolutely amazing, and looked better than any lunch I've had in a long time. It was far too big, though. And I had to save some of it for later.
Another must visit place for me, has got to be Starbucks! I just LOVE love love, their Java Chip Frappuchino. Chocolate, and coffee, and chocolate chips. Oh heaven! They told me they'd run out of whipped cream, which is, perhaps the worst thing they can tell you. But it was followed up with "is it okay, we use the chocolate whipped cream?" GUYS! Chocolate whipped cream is an actual thing that exists. I didn't know! But I certainly knows how to order my next frappuchino. Regulair whipped cream, I'm sorry, you've been replaced! Om nom nom.
For dinner we went to Restaurant Soya. It is a japanese restaurant, with running sushi. Usually I don't expect a lot from that sort of places, but I was SO amazed. I only like nigiri styled sushi, and I actually had several options. Furthermore, their edamame beans tasted SO good! I had so many of those! a perfect sidedish for eating sushi. We ate and ate until we felt stuffed to the brim. And then we had cake. Naturally. Because after eating that much, the best thing to do, is to have more. It was all very lovely, and cost me around 230 dkkr. Not too bad, in my opinion.
Last but not least, she showed me two of her favourite places to go out for drinks. Fidel's and Zenza. Fidel's have been in aarhus for quite a while now, and is an amazing place to go for drinks. We had alcohol free strawberry daiquiri's, which tasted like liquid heaven. YUM! Moving on later, we went to Zenza. one of the newer, hip'er places to be. Everything looked amazing, and it was a bit brighter in there. Easier to talk together, and see each other. my second drink was a tequila sunrise, with alcohol. YUM! It was so nice going out with Laura. I don't drink much in general. But turns out, neither does she. Alcohol affects your body a lot when you are working out. She's really into fitness, and don't want her hard work being ruined. Something I admire greatly.
I had so much fun visiting my friend. If you plan on going to Aarhus at some point, make sure to stop by some of the places I mentioned. You definitely won't be dissappointed.
