My Current Skincare Routine

Hi Beauties!

I remember seeing videos on youtube, with makeup gurus saying it took them years to perfect a skincare routine, to find something that really worked for them. I gotta admit, I didn't believe a word of it. Because to me it just didn't seem like there was anything right, or perfect, for me. My skin acted up, and whatever I did, nothing helped. Now though it seems like I've found the magic products, that keeps my skin clear without drying me out completely. So I might as well share it with you. Getting to here though, it took a lot of trial and error, going through a lot of different skin products. If you want me to talk about all the things that didn't work, let me know!

I'm not one of those people who cleanse my face several times a day. I do it every night before bedtime. But in the mornings, if my skin feels oily, I simply wash it with water. I have tried doing what I'm supposed to, and cleanse in the mornings too... But that have turned out to do more harm than good to my skin. So I'm sticking with what I found out worked. And when it means less work for me, I'm all for it.

A-Derma Sensifluid Micellar Water
This is a product I recieved in a goodiebox, and at first I wasn't all that impressed. But after using it for a few weeks, it ended up being a good substitute for the makeup remover I had run out of. And now, it's a favourite. I like this one, because it's watery and clear, but doesn't sting your eyes. It removes the makeup without me having to rub a lot on my skin to get everything off.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub
This is a scrub I use when I've worn a thick/full face of makeup. When I want to be sure I've gotten everything bad off my skin. This is very exfoliating, and I wouldn't recommend using it every day. But I don't use foundation or bb creams on a daily basis, so this isn't really an issue for me. The tea tree line doesn't exactly smell great, but it's very effective!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Wash
On most days, when I'm not using the scrub, I use this facial wash. And as I said before, sorta stinky, but very good for my skin. It foams up nicely, and is easy to rinse off afterwards. My skin is left feeling sorta cool and a bit tingly, and it really feels like you're doing a difference by using it.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Facial Toner
If you haven't noticed, the tea tree line from body shop does wonders for me. This toner is seperated into two things; a liquid and a powder/paste. When you shake it, it mixes and then you can use it. I had tried a toner that did this, from Clinique, but it was far too rough on my skin. It dried me out, and ended up giving me more breakouts than before. So I was a bit hessitant to use this, but it surprised me so much. This doesn't sting or feel weird on your skin, like some toners.

Garnier Pure Skin Hydratand 24 h
This is a cream I've used a lot! it doesn't take much to cover your entire face, and since I bought it, I don't even know if you can buy it anymore. I really hope you can, because I'm running out of it! But it's a product that keeps my skin moisturized without breaking me out. And for a cream, that's more than any other I've tried.

The Body Shop Vitamin-E Face Mist
This spray is something I use on days I feel like my face needs that extra boost of moisture, or when I'm too lazy to put on the Garnier cream. There's not much to say about it, really. It smells good, works wonders, and is easy to use. Simply spray on your face, and you're done. Just remember to keep your eyes closed when using it.

Lóreal Youth Code Night Cream
So... I turned 25 at some point... and with that, the worry about wrinkles, and fine lines. My skin is still too sensitive to handle a thick cream like this, so I only use it around my eyes, and down my neck. This is the first places you see an aging effect on your skin. And before you say I'm too young to worry about wrinkle creams. They can't make wrinkles go away, they can only prevent. And since your skin slowly starts dettriorating from when you turn 25, at age 26 this is the perfect time to start using something like this.

Labello Classic Care
Over the years I have tried quite a few lip products. But the one thing I know for sure will work on me, is the good old Labello lip balm. It's something that's been on the marked, since forever it would seem. I have an EOS sphere lip balm as well. And I use that before putting on lipstick in the morning (if I wear lipstick that day). But when I cleanse my face, this is my go to lip product. And I gotta say. Even on days I don't wear anything. Using this every night, really helps keeping my lips moisturized.

What are your go-to products?
Have you tried any of the ones I mentioned?

XOXO
